About us

Eurovia is a multi-award winning highways contractor. We seek out the most sustainable and innovative ways to produce, construct, improve and regenerate infrastructure solutions that bring benefits on a national scale. Our own integrated supply chain gives us the unique ability to ensure timely and quality services to our clients; from producing emulsions from Polybitumens to asphalt from Roadstone to the Surfacing and Specialist Treatments crews out in the field.

And when we're not laying new surfaces, we're constructing major carriageways, regenerating busy high streets and installing new bridges; undertaking great feats of engineering with our multi-disciplined teams.

We also have a pretty impressive fleet to boot, too!

Eurovia Specialist Treatments

Eurovia Specialist Treatments deliver highly specialised and unique products, using advanced technology and bespoke equipment. The expertise of our teams apply these techniques to bring multiple benefits to a range of surfaces, including main carriageways and rural roads, airport runways, footpaths and even children's play areas.

Increasing road safety and performance is at the forefront of what we do through improving grip and strengthening the integrity of surfaces, whilst ensuring environmental impacts are minimised wherever possible.

Our main office for Specialist Treatments is based in Stilton but our crews can work around the clock, across the UK.

Eurovia Roadstone and Polybitumens

Roadstone produces in excess of 300,000 tonnes of asphalt per year across its plants in Dagenham and Ipswich and we're a little bit excited about our new bitumen and emulsions plant "Polybitumens", due to start production in 2019. Based in Grays, Essex, Polybitumens will further enhance our self-delivery model, providing base materials to our Roadstone plants and onward to our surfacing and specialist treatment crews.

Eurovia Contracting North and South

Eurovia Contracting North and South undertake minor highways and town centre improvements to multi-million pound regeneration and construction projects. A couple of examples of our work includes significant pedestrian and highways upgrades for the city of Hull as "City of Culture" in 2017. We're also a proud partner to Camden Council, currently spending £35million to improve the West End. We're making major changes to Tottenham Court Road to reduce traffic congestion and air pollution and safer routes for cyclists. Using the latest BIM and Digital Engineering techniques, our contracting divisions work with clients to help realise their visions, foreseeing potential obstacles and finding solutions to overcome the engineering conundrums that will often surface when improving the UK's complex networks around our historical towns and cities. For generations to come, people will benefit from the work our contracting teams deliver today – a job doesn't get much more satisfying than that.

Eurovia Surfacing

Guess who is responsible for the iconic red asphalt of The Mall leading up to Buckingham Palace and who is trusted to maintain the pathways of the Royal Parks?

Not only do our surfacing teams deliver prestigious surfacing schemes through to country roads, they deliver it with great pride and care utilising sustainable and innovative materials. Working with colleagues across our specialist businesses, we are able to develop and trial new materials to meet the needs of increasing demands on a range of road surfaces, whilst being sensitive to the environment by using higher proportions of recycled content.

There's no doubt that on the network this is a hard graft job, but enormously satisfying. Who doesn't enjoy driving on a freshly resurfaced road – and it's even better if it was you that played a part in it.
